From
the Desktop, Double Click on the Outlook Icon (This only applies to
you if MS Office is installed), When
Outlook opens up.

Click
the Tools menu and select Email Accounts.

- Click the Mail tab to bring it to
the front. This displays a window containing your Internet accounts. If you
only use your Broadband Provider to access the Net, there will be only one account
available.

To
modify your existing account, click its name and press the Change
button. To add your account, click Add and choose Add a new e-mail
account
from the pop-up window.

Enter
the following in the User Information area:

- Name:
Enter your full name as you would like it to appear on your email
messages.
- Organization (By Clicking More
Settings):
This is optional. Type in the name of your business or group. This will be
placed on all messages you send to newsgroups.
- Reply
Address (By Clicking More Settings): If you want your recipients' replies to go to another email
address, type it here. If you don't enter anything here, replies will go
to your email address.
- E-Mail
Address: username@yourprovider. Replace username with
your real username.
- Specify your Incoming Mail Server (POP3):
This information comes from you ISP.
- Specify your Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP):
This information comes from you ISP.
- Specify your User Name and Password:
This information comes from you ISP.
- Click Next and then Finish. This
should get your Outlook working correctly.
Please note that previous versions may not look just
like the screen shots shown, but should generally be about the same steps.
Most ISP's do not support Outlook as a general email program. But they all
work in about the same way.
